TailorGuide and your personal data
Protecting your privacy has always been one of the foundations for TailorGuide, not just to comply with privacy laws but because we think it is the right thing to do. The key measures we have taken to protect your privacy are:
Unlike most measuring tools using cloud based computer vision technologies, we put in the extra effort to develop a revolutionary computer vision solution. Your photos never leave your device and TailorGuide performs all computer vision processing inside your device. Photos are erased immediately after measuring and we only store your measurements in the cloud.
We never share your personal details with third parties without your knowledge. Even when retrieving size suggestions, we don't need to send your measurements to the online store. Instead, we perform the size matching in our cloud. And if you choose to share your measurements with, for example, a made to measure store, we always ask for your permission first.
We are committed to documenting all privacy and data related policies in easy to understand and user-friendly ways, and to inform all users of any changes, what data we collect and how we use that data. We have also built in tools for users to either delete or export all of their personal data in a computer readable format.
We created a takeout tool for exporting your personal data. It helps you verify what data we store and helps in case you want to use your data elsewhere.
In the name of transparency, it is a complete and unfiltered database export of your details in a computer readable JSON format that can be opened, for example in your favorite JSON viewer tool.

In order for you to access your measurements and get size suggestions, we store some basic information in our cloud. Including but not limited to your email address, login token, name, gender, language.
Our mobile application produces user-specific body measurement details, which we collect and store in our cloud. The measurement details are used to offer clothing size recommendations, according to the user account profile and preferences.
When you use TailorGuide in online stores, we collect some basic details like in what online store you used TailorGuide and when. We don't, however, store any detailed information about your online purchases, like product or address details.
